1.
Slide mounting hook into position. Hang on car hood or other convenient site.
2.
Connect to power using Battery clamp adapter, cigarette lighter adapter, or
120 VAC adapter.
3.
Unit turns on automatically. No warm up required. Self tests and beeps with
display prompt. "Press Test Button"
4.
Unit beeps with display prompt: "Connect Hose"
5.
Connect correct SAE test gas hose to unit and vapor side of system under test.
Gas pressure to the unit automatically initiates test cycle.
6.
Within 15 seconds, unit beeps and displays "Disconnect hose, Test Complete".
7.
Unit then displays test results in % of R12, R134a, Hydrocarbons and air. If
mixed refrigerant exists, (blend) display flashes "contaminated"

Individual LED(s) simultaneously light to indicate refrigerant status.

+ R12 (green) recycle/reclaim
+ HC Hazard! (red flashing) accompanied by audible, repeating beep indicates
presence of butane, propane or isobutane. Potential fire hazard! "Contaminated"
(yellow) LED remains on and "HC" and contaminated" display flashes.

If hard copy test results are required, connect compatible printer to printer
port and press "Print Button". Test results are printed along with
test verification signature and date blank.
10.
To repeat test cycle, press the test button to clean system and proceed with
display prompts.
11.
When finished with test, press test button to clear unit of residual gas.
